Meet Our Stockist - SoulBia

Tell us a little bit about your business.

SoulBia is a distributor of Irish food produce.  Whether you love Artisan food, organic food, local food or just good food. SoulBia brings all great Irish food to you from one location.

What and who inspires you and and why?

Our inspiration comes from the producers of the many amazing handmade products now available to purchase.  From Raw Vegan Desserts (Goodness Gracious) to Fermented Foods

(Cultured Kitchen), from Wheatgrass (Squeeze Wheatgrass) and Organic Seaweed (Emerald Isle Seaweed) to Granola (Tamnagh Foods) and Pepper Ketchup (Peppup Sauce). This is not forgetting the many other award winning products that also sit in our range.  The innovation, vision and determination of our producers is outstanding.  SoulBia is proud to represent the hard-work of these many individuals by delivering their products directly to you.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

I’ve been given lots of great advice from many fantastic people, but one that has recently resonated with me is ‘Anything that gets your blood racing is probably worth doing’.

I have no doubt that it is this passion that fills the veins of our producers and consumers and it is the same passion that drives SoulBia.

What’s the number one goal you plan on accomplishing in 2016?

Our number one goal at all times is to drive awareness and distribution of the very best in what our innovative and award winning food culture has to offer.

We aim to deliver the taste of the nation.

Why do you think it is important to support local producers?

The local food industry is at the heart of everything we do at SoulBia.

We believe in self generation and growth from within, by supporting local producers we believe that everyone supports themselves.  It is by supporting local producers that we can regenerate and grow our local economies, maintain our unique communities, raise a healthier population and reduce our environmental impact. By supporting local producers today we are ensuring that we will have local producers tomorrow in turn increasing our food security for the future.
