The team at Squeeze Wheatgrass are huge fans of wheatgrass juice and we drink a shot each morning to kickstart our day.  We particularly like the natural energy boost it gives us and the taste reminds of us of eating peas straight out of the pod. Each shot of wheatgrass gives us a real sense of health and wellbeing.

Wheatgrass juice is particularly high in chlorophyll and because of this, Wheatgrass cleanses and builds the blood.  Chlorophyll is the first product of light and therefore contains more healing properties than any other element. Only green plants can transform the sun’s energy into chlorophyll through the process of photosynthesis. Chlorophyll is known as the ‘life-blood’ of the plants. This important phytonutrient is what the cells in your body need to heal and to thrive.  Drinking wheatgrass juice is like drinking liquid sunshine.

Wheatgrass contains over 90 minerals, including high concentrations of the most alkaline minerals: potassium, calcium, magnesium and sodium.  These alkaline minerals are what help boost our immune system.  These minerals allow the immune system to function as it should – fighting off all illness and disease.

Wheatgrass has twice the amount of Vitamin A as carrots and has more Vitamin C than oranges.  Wheatgrass juice is a complete source of protein, supplying the body with all of the essential amino acids.

As well as giving the body healthy dosages of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, enzymes, and phytonutrients, wheatgrass also works as a detoxifier, particularly for the liver and blood.

Celebrity fans such as Simon Cowell, Victoria Beckham and Gwyneth Paltrow drink wheatgrass juice for its nutritional benefits.

Fans of wheatgrass often proclaim that one ounce of wheatgrass juice is the nutritional equivalent to 1kg of leafy green vegetables!!

We would say our 30 ml shots of wheatgrass juice are a convenient and easier way to give your body the nutritional goodness it needs to function as it should.
